American Baptist Women meet the second Wednesday of each month to complete service projects.

Bible Study

Pastor Ken hosts a weekly Bible study on Thursday nights.

Sunday school classes also offer a good opportunity for Bible study.

Impact Ministry

On the second Saturday of each month, the Impact Ministry provides meals, visitation, prayer, and scripture reading to our shut-ins and those who are ill and need encouragement.

Men’s Ministry

The men’s ministry hosts breakfasts that provide opportunities for fellowship. Participants also raise money and offer their time to support service projects for local families in need.

Music Ministries

Olive Branch is blessed with many talented musicians.

Adult Choir

The adult choir sings from October through May. The choir meets for practice Wednesday night and Sunday morning (between Sunday school and church).

Praise and Worship Team

The Praise and Worship Team kicks off the worship service every Sunday with a mix of traditional and contemporary Christian music.

Other Local Ministries

We respond to the needs of the community as they arise.

Pastor’s Book Club

Pastor Ken hosts a quarterly book club, including discussions and fellowship.

Prayer Meetings

We believe in the power of prayer and meet regularly throughout the week for prayer.

Showering Blessing Ministry

The Showering Blessing Ministry is held on the third Saturday of each month, when we open the church doors to distribute clothing, toiletries, and other necessities to our neighbors in need in Smithton, Jacobs Creek, and Van Meter areas.

VBS

We host a VBS program for children one week each summer.
