Bible Reading Resolution

Those who don't spend time with God on a regular basis become spiritually malnourished. We need to feed the soul and hear from God every single day.

This year we challenge you to make the following resolution: To read your Bible and pray every single day.

Pastor Ken challenged us to spend time each day reading our Bibles and praying. He asked that we make it our resolution for this year and provided a year-long Bible reading plan, which was a handout from www.Bible-Reading.com.

Why to Read

Psalm 119 provides guidance on why we should spend time in God’s Word.

Verse 7

I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.

Verse 10

With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments.

Verse 12

Blessed are You, O Lord;
Teach me Your statutes.

Verse 16

I shall delight in Your statutes;
I shall not forget Your word.
